The bike industry has consistently proven that the so-called “standards” are more like a general concept that every player in the industry can modify for any reason. Thru-axles is another proof of this, where there are not only different sizes for valid reasons (front and rear axle) but also for reasons that are hard to understand for most users (the myriad of small variations in lengths, threads…).

Ridea Thru-Axle system intends to reduce the number of different specifications that bike stores and mechanics have to deal with. With a simple and cleverly designed spacer system, the same axle can service more frames/forks. This helps to reduce the number of different axles needed to service the vast majority of specifications currently used.

All Ridea Thru-Axles are made of AL 7075. Spacers are available in carbon or alloy (black, red, gold, silver, Ti-gray, Ti-cast rainbow colors). Both ends of the axle have a 6 mm hex socket.
