This is an upgrade kit that includes the necessary parts to add a double chainring crankset and a rear 4-sprocket cassette (11-13-16-20t) to your Brompton. Additionally, the kit also includes a Ridea wheelset of your choice with our Ridea HF4-R rear hub for the 4-sprocket cassette.

This kit can deliver a gear range of 318% (when combined with Ridea 53/39 chainrings) in a lightweight package

To fully convert your Brompton, you will also need the following parts:

• A double chainring crankset (recommended chainline of 44 to 49 mm). Check Ridea options here.
• Depending on your current crankset and the double chainring crankset you are upgrading to, a bottom bracket change may be required.
• A front derailleur (Shimano Ultegra FD-R8000 is available to purchase through Ridea when ordering this kit).
